To strengthen the development team VSTEP is looking for a Software Engineer. You will be part of our development department which develops our maritime training simulator NAUTIS and the virtual incident training for first responders RS.

Job description

Your daily activities will be:

  • Designing and programming new simulation software components
  • Debugging, bug fixing, analysing problems and improving performance
  • Assisting your team members and reviewing their code
  • Giving input to project leaders and management regarding your specialization

Requirements

You have: 

  • Solid programming skills in C++, C#, Java or PHP
  • Experience with real-time 3D engines
  • Good knowledge of mathematics or physics
  • An open source code or example of projects that you’re proud of
  • Any other evidence of your passion for building great software
  • A track record of getting stuff done

You are:

  • A team player who is also able to work in independently
  • Willing to learn to work with UnigineScript
  • Fulltime available and eligible to work in the Netherlands
