Rotterdam, 7 August 2018 – H2K recently signed with VSTEP for a contract extension of RescueSim. H2K will continue to use the Incident Command simulator to provide safety training to their clients. The new extension will allow for training in RescueSim’s land and maritime modules.
H2K is a provider of fire-fighting training, consultancy and advisory services. The company employs highly skilled personnel to deliver tailored training within the Netherlands. H2K is known for their customer focus and professional services and strives to prepare its trainees for proper fire incident management. Similar to VSTEP, H2K also has a mission to promote safety awareness and procedures. Both of our companies strive to create a safer world through highly effective training methods.
VSTEP’s history with H2K spans nine years. They initially chose to use RescueSim due to the system’s numerous benefits. The simulation platform allows incident command training in an immersive 3D virtual environment. RS is realistic, safe and cost effective enhancement of live practical training for safety and security professionals. Users experience the incident or crisis situation, assess it and then determine their response strategy. They implement their response strategy and observe the consequences of their decisions in real-time in the simulator.
“The new extension is a great sign that H2K continues to see the value of our Incident Command simulator. They have been our partner for quite some time now and I look forward to seeing that partnership grow even stronger in the future,” says Ben Borrie, Head of Content at VSTEP.
VSTEP is also working together with H2K on the development of the newest instalment of RescueSim. Their input is helping to strengthen the RS system as an incident management trainer. “By listening to the needs of our customers we can develop a new product that will provide even more value to its users. The next iteration of the Incident Command simulator will replace the current system and raise the simulator to a higher level in terms of realism, effectiveness and capabilities”, notes Febryano Veldy, Product Manager of RS.
