The tug simulator at the 360-Control Training Center was designed by VSTEP. This is a well-known player in the field of maritime simulation. They provide a compact simulator system with a natural and realistic look-and-feel. The vessel behavior comes very close to that of the real tugs that our shareholder DAMEN produces. The latest display technology of large vertical LCD flat panels was used for the outside view, providing the identical view angles that one experiences inside the bridge of a real tug. The footprint of the simulator was small enough to fit into the training center without the need for architectural changes.
