IMA NAUTIS Simulator

The International Maritime Academy (IMA) is the first academy accredited by the International Sailing School Association (ISSA) in the MENA region, offering high-level courses and professional training, supported by cutting edge simulation technology. The academy aims to enhance the maritime culture and the Great Sea image in Lebanon, embedded in the Lebanese people through their Phoenician ancestry, with a clear mission to support vocational tourism and enlarge the career spectrum of the country on a local and international scale.

The IMA strongly believes it is vital to ensure the safety and control overseas, which is why it is keen on empowering its qualified students and personnel with internationally accredited professionalism and expertise. The state-of-the-art NAUTIS simulator will help support them and enable training in a practical, cost effective and sustainable way.

Due to the affordable price and small form factor of the NAUTIS Desktop, high quality certified training is possible on any location, including on board ships as well as in classrooms. NAUTIS Simulators are DNV-GL accredited integrated simulator solutions satisfying the latest IMO requirements. The simulators are developed using the latest technological advances and are optimized to deliver a realistic, true to life simulator experience.

“VSTEP is very pleased that this sale and delivery took place. The NAUTIS maritime simulators will be of great value to the Maritime Academy. I am happy that our excellent products will be used to promote the maritime industry in Lebanon as well as in surrounding regions. We hope to further develop our relationship with the Maritime Academy in the future and continue to drive safety standards and training innovations” says Josie Zhang, Project Manager – Delivery at VSTEP.
